PRINTING POLICY & GUIDELINES

TURNAROUND

Standard turnaround is 10 business days from the time we have an approved Quote or Order Approval, payment terms (50% deposit) and we have all information required to complete your order (all artwork, working / correct tags, all fonts required for editable tags, all shipping info, etc.). Delay in receipt of *any* of this info can/will result in production delays. Delay in approval of mock ups can/will also result in production delays. Some pr inting styles and add-on services will add to the standard turnaround time. If you have a deadline for your order, it is very important that you let us know when p lacing your order and a rush fee may apply to orders needing quicker turnaround. Thread Wolf will not be responsible for missing deadlines because of weather conditions, power supply interruptions, vendor shortages and errors, shipping errors or acts of God. If we expect or foresee any problems coming, we’ll b e sure to let you know and work w ith you to rectify it.

PAYMENT

All orders must have a 50% payment in order to be considered a submitted order and begin your turnaround. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Pay Pal. If you pay via check, the turn around time clock on your order will not begin until your check clears our bank account. The order balance is due to pickup or ship the order.

ESTIMATES

Estimates are good for 14 days unless stated otherwise but are subject to seeing final artwork to confirm an estimate. The total quantity invoiced is equal to the total quantity shipped.

MINIMUMS

For the most accurate print minimums, please see each product in our Products & Pricing section. In general, minimums are:

Standard Size Images: 25 Pieces Minimum
Foil: 50 Pieces Minimum
Process Printing: 50 Minimum
Any Order With Finishings: 50 Pieces Minimum

ARTWORK

All files must be 300 DPI or vector format. Design should be sized to the size it should be printed. Text must be converted to outlines. Printing can only be as good as the artwork. Thread Wolf will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. Please see our file prep page for more details. Thread Wolf is not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file. We do our best to catch these errors and point them out to you, but we do not catch them all. If it is in your art file and on your approval, that is how we will print it.

ART APPROVAL

All artwork is to be approved via a digital mock-up through email. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, sizes ordered, placement of the art and ac curacy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the mockup, as this is how your garments will pr int. Thread Wolf will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and additional expenses for which the client will be invoiced accordingly. Any delays in the approval process longer than 24 hours after receipt of the mockup can/will result in production delays.

IMAGE SIZES

All shirt sizes in an order will have the same image size unless otherwise requested. Different image sizes being printed on different shirt sizes will be treated as a new order and priced as a new order. Image size printed within 1.5 inches of any seam are subject to distortion, print inconsistencies and/ or other small inconsistencies. These are all considered acceptable goods and Thread Wolf will not assume responsibility for print imperfections due to printing too close to seams.

INK COLORS & PANTONE MATCHING

Because of the nature of water based and discharge inks, we can not guarantee Pantone colors. Our standard color list has approximate Pantone values listed with each color. This value may or may not be used in the mockup provided. We can not guarantee ink colors based on visual mockups alone. We recommend checking the colors given against a Pantone book. Monitors can vary significantly from one computer to the next so p lease check a Pantone book for color accuracy. The best way to do this, and the most accurate way, is to purchase a Pantone Plus Series Solid Coated Formula Guide. This can be purchased as part of the set (Coated and Uncoated) through Amazon for $92 + shipping. The reason why it’s best to buy the book, once again, is the pantone guide on your version of Photoshop is still using your color calibration, and will not necessarily be accurate.

SEAM, COLLAR a ZIPPER PRINTING

Any printing on or over any seams or zippers is subject to printing inconsistencies and/or distortion. These are all considered acceptable goods and will not be considered misprints. Thread Wolf will not be responsible for these inconsistencies.

SPECIFIC MEASUREMENTS WHEN PRINTING

Even though Thread Wolf’s printers have many years of experience, there is no way to effectively and efficiently measure a distance from the collar on each shirt as each garment is loaded onto the press by hand. If you request a shirt that is 2′ down from the collar, we will use that as a guide and do our best to make sure that all shirts hit that target, but not all shirts will hit exactly at 2′ , they may be off by as much as an inch in either direction. This will not be considered a misprint and Thread Wolf will not reprint or refund these shirts. Anything over an inch and a half from your desired placement will be considered for a reprint.

UNDER/OVER  RUNS ALLOWANCE

Custom printing is an artform, especially when it comes to water based and discharge inks. We do our very best to deliver, at minimum, the ordered quantity for each and every size on your order. However, printing mistakes happen, screens break on press, shirts arrive with holes or stains from the manufacturer. For that reason, we have an under/over run allowance. This is simply an acceptable margin of error.

All orders within the Under/Over Run Allowance of the ordered quantity will be considered acceptable for delivery. For this reason, we highly recommend you order extra garments for each size. Real Thread will not be responsible for profit loss on under runs. If requested, in the event of an under run greater than our Under/Over Run Allowance, we will reprint the remaining quantity. Thread Wolf will not, at any time, be responsible for any lost profits on items shorted from your order. (ex: If you paid $6.50 per shirt to get the shirt printed, but you sell them for $25.00, Thread Wolf is only responsible for the $6.50 you would have paid us for the shirt).

Standard & Oversize: 3%
Metallic Foil: 5%

RUSH ORDERS

Orders that require an in-hands date sooner than our standard turnaround time (per the order specs and services) are subject to rush fees. Below is the rush fee percentage schedule which indicates the percentage amount to be added to the order total, based on how many days are being cut out of our specified turnaround time. Rush orders still incur the same limitations as outlined in the turnaround time above. So, if a rush order needs an in-hands date 3 days earlier than our standard turnaround time for your order, 10% of the total order will be added as a rush fee.

  • 1 – 3 Days: 10%
  • 4 – 7 Days: 20%
  • 8 – 10 Days: 25%

Rush Orders are subject to the same Under/Over Run Allowance as standard orders. Rush time frames are based on our current production schedule and do not include shipping time. Thread Wolf will not be held responsible for shipping issues once your order has left our facility.

SHIPPING

Thread Wolf cannot be responsible for any shipping delays caused by the shipping company.

Examples. UPS cannot deliver your package on time due to inclement weather. / UPS delivers your package to the wrong address (although provided the correct address) and you do not receive your products on time.

CANCELLATIONS & RESTOCKING FEES

Cancellations made after order has been p laced w ill be subject to a 15% restocking fee p lus any additional fees required to cover services already rendered. No cancellations will be accepted once production or any manipulation of the garments (tag removal, printed tags, printing, hem tagging, etc.) has begun on the order.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Thread Wolf will not be responsible for items that are out of stock. While we check items we know to have potential stock issues, all garments are ordered after your order is p laced, and we cannot guarantee their availability. If items are out of stock, we will provide you with a list of possible replacements and get it approved by you before using your chosen item.

PRINTED SAMPLE POLICY

Printed samples are available with the following pricing and terms:

Standard Image Size: $75 for the first color and $15 for every color thereafter (additional locations are considered additional colors) You will receive two printed samples. If artwork needs to be separated, created or touched up, it is subject to normal art charges. A complete credit of the sample cost is available if an order is placed within 14 business days of the sample shipping out or being ready for pickup. In order to receive a full credit, the art must stay exactly the same (and thus using the same screens).

HOLIDAYS

Just like you, we like to spend the holidays with our families and friends. For that reason, we are closed for the following holidays. These days will not be considered operational business days and will not count towards turnaround time:

– New Year’s Day
– Memorial Day
– Independence Day
– Labor Day
– Thanksgiving Day
– The Day After Thanksgiving
– Christmas Eve
– Christmas Day
– The Day After Christmas

SOCIAL SHARING

We’re super stoked to be able to print for you. With that said, we want to show them off once they’re finished. It’s a great way f or us to show our skills and send some of our fans your way. We like to do so by taking pictures and posting on them on places lnstagram, Facebook, etc. If you are not comfortable w ith your shirt being photographed and shared by us, p lease let your account manager know when you p lace your order. If you do not notify us, we will assume we have your full permission to post a photo of your shirt(s).

WASH DOWN & HAND

Because water based and discharge ink is simply dyed fabric and is not plastic ink sitting on top of the shirt, we will not be responsible for fading or weathering of goods. We print with the highest quality products and equipment available for water based and discharge inks and take great pride in our quality of work. We will stand behind all of our work. That being said, very small amounts of wash down on ink colors are expected with each additional wash since fabric will fade with additional washings.

Before being washed, it is completely normal to feel discharge ink on the shirt slightly. Once the shirt is washed one time, this feeling generally goes away. If specialty or high opacity inks are requested, we can not guarantee a no-hand feel.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

In order to ensure image longevity and image vibrant -ness, we recommend “machine wash cold, tumble dry low’ for all waterbase and discharge prints. Foil prints should be washed inside out and line dried. All goods should be washed before wearing.

GARMENT DISCLAIMER

Thread Wolf is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra o f each size if an exact count is important. Some manufacturers over -dye their garments. Over -dying is the process of re-dying a garment after it’s initial manufacturing period. This is

done for any number of reasons, including color correction, clearing out of colors that didn’t sell (purple shirts aren’t selling so the manufacturer dyes them b lack to sell them as b lack shirts), etc. Because of this factor, Thread Wolf cannot 100% guarantee exact color consistency on coloring with discharge printing or discharge based services (Premium Standard). This is most noticeable on white ink prints (showing a slight off white tinge), but can sometimes be seen with other colors. If you are concerned about the possibility of over -dying on a garment you are interested in or would like more information or alternate print methods, p lease contact us. We will be glad to provide you with any information that may help you avoid this issue.

SATISFACTION CLAUSE

Thread Wolf will not be responsible for your satisfaction with the garments printed on or the printed artwork. We are always available to counsel any customer to ensure you pick a garment that matches your needs but we also need you to do your due diligence on the garment choice. If you are unsure of what garment to select, we can gladly order a number of b lank samples for you to choose from. The samples will be billed at a per piece rate and shipped without printing. Blank samples will not credit to the cost of your order.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We try to check every garment as it comes off of the press, but there are times where some mistakes will make it out the door. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. Thread Wolf will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the goods. Thread Wolf also will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. While Thread Wolf does quality checks on the garments, the final quality assurance check lies in the hands of you, our customer.

CLAIMS & REPRINTS

We go to great lengths to try to ensure that every order that leaves our facility is correct. All of our customers are valued customers, regardless of size, and we want you all to know that. Any order printed differently than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint of the defective product. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours of date of delivery. If Thread Wolf is responsible for any errors in your order, we will gladly accept responsibility for the issues and will reprint the shirts printed in error. We do not offer refunds, but will gladly reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate. We will require that you ship the misprinted shirts back to our shop (we will provide you with a UPS label and will cover shipping costs). Thread Wolf will not be responsible for any shirts sold or given away prior to returning the order.
